Once the business has its energy plan in place and a program of energy efficiency and procurement initiatives identified it needs to be able to realise and maintain the cost savings on offer. Management systems play a crucial role in embedding the energy focus and new practices into the business.
About this module
This module focuses on how to embed energy management into business systems and activities.
In this module business leaders will access tools and case examples to help them update their management systems to support the energy plans developed in the other modules of this program. These systems may include production, Quality Assurance, supply chain management, maintenance, HR and management reviews and reporting.
This approach will ensure that energy efficiency is factored into business decisions on an ongoing sustainable basis. It also ensures data is available to meet reporting requirements and helps the business to demonstrate its carbon footprint and energy management initiatives to customers.
